The parish is situated on the River Tone and A358 road 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Taunton, Somerset. It has approximately 1,500 residents, offering a range of services and amenities to meet the needs of its residents.

VACANCY FOR A COUNCILLOR
Due to the resignation of Peter Sherry there is a vacancy for a Parish Councillor.
Unless ten electors within the Parish give notice within 14 working days (18.8.26) from the notice date requesting that an election be held, the vacancy will be filled by co-option.
The requests can be made by writing to the Chief Executive, Electoral Services, Somerset Council, County Hall, The Crescent, Taunton, Somerset, TA1 4DY.
They can also be made via email: [email protected]
The requests do not have to arrive at the same time.
* These are full working days which do not include weekends or bank holidays.
